One of the smallest countries in Europe, yet it has everything from proper mountains to the sea, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, you name it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I knew it was a paradise for hikers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I didn\u2019t know it was a paradise for riders as well!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"931\" height=\"597\" src=\"https:\/\/alyoka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Image-01-05-2022-at-15.26.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1040\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The weather forecast didn\u2019t look so good but I was hoping to get some warm sunny hours to at least see the Bled lake. And otherwise some days of rest wouldn\u2019t hurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Luckily it rained mostly during the nights\/mornings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What about resting? Nothing! I can\u2019t rest when there\u2019s so much beauty around! The greenest grass you\u2019ve ever seen with the white mountain tops on the background. The fluffy cotton clouds crawling up and down the hills. The reflections in the lakes. The cute city of Liubliana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And the people! So kind, so warm, so \ud83d\udc9b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p class=\"responsive-video-wrap clr\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\uddf0 Part 54. Lahov\u010de \ud83c\udfcd Triglav. Roundtrip. 525km.\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cAcVNTkrEkA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><h3>\ud83c\udfde\ufe0f Triglav national park.<\/h3><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was hoping for at least one warm sunny day to explore it. I had flagged so many places around it as \u201cmust see\u201d and I didn\u2019t want to rush through them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To my surprise, the first place on my route &#8211; the Martuljek Lower Waterfall, was not accessible by motorbike (although Google maps said it was). Since it wasn\u2019t my top priority, I decided to skip it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next stop &#8211; Lake Jasna, quite touristy but really really beautiful, with water so clear that I was tempted to try drinking it (I didn\u2019t do it though). The white mountain tops in the background were calling, so after a short walk around the lake I headed towards the Vr\u0161i\u010d pass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Julian Alps, no words needed \ud83d\ude0d Curves and views! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I rode along the So\u010da river, and I couldn\u2019t resist taking some time to explore the gorge and the gaze at the multiple waterfalls and the fantastic turquoise river running between weirdly shaped rocks. Pure magic! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A quick mandatory ride through the Devil\u2019s Bridge, aka Hudi\u010dev Most (it seems like I\u2019ve started collecting devil\u2019s bridges throughout the roadtrip). This one was quite different than all I had seen before! Squeezed between two gigantic rock walls, 60 meters above the Tolminka river &#8211; \ud83d\udcaf breathtaking experience, including the very narrow river which leads to it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another snowy mountain pass, as my GoPro ran out of both memory and battery at the same time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I made it to Lake Bohinj for the sunset, watched the sun go down and decided to come back next morning to with more time and check out the Savica Waterfall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" data-id=\"1030\" src=\"https:\/\/alyoka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_1627.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1030\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" data-id=\"1034\" src=\"https:\/\/alyoka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_1957.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1034\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3801\" height=\"2851\" data-id=\"1033\" src=\"https:\/\/alyoka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_1882.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1033\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" data-id=\"1036\" src=\"https:\/\/alyoka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_2030.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1036\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3901\" height=\"2926\" data-id=\"1038\" src=\"https:\/\/alyoka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_2090.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1038\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" data-id=\"1037\" src=\"https:\/\/alyoka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_2082.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1037\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" data-id=\"1032\" src=\"https:\/\/alyoka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_1861.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1032\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The road to Savica Waterfall is really beautiful, it curves along the lake through a light green forest, full of sunshine and happiness. But as I arrived to the waterfall parking, I saw a lot of people and decided not to participate in this mass hiking, and instead go and spend some time at Lake Bled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><h3>Lake Bled \ud83d\udc9b<\/h3><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If this is not magic then what is?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can\u2019t explain what makes this lake so special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3386\" height=\"2540\" data-id=\"1039\" src=\"https:\/\/alyoka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_2160.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1039\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"4005\" height=\"3004\" data-id=\"1031\" src=\"https:\/\/alyoka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_1811.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1031\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" data-id=\"1060\" src=\"https:\/\/alyoka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_1788.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1060\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Is it the island in the middle of it? Is it the castle? Is it the color of the water? Is it the moment when the wind calms down and the water becomes one big mirror?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is it? It\u2019s one of those things that I can\u2019t explain, I just feel it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One lake. One sunset.
